Creation – how awesome. I imagine it to be (as close as we can possibly have here on earth) like when you are camping on a mountain top and you wake up before the sunrise, it is foggy, and you are feeling tranquil and you just sit. Your eyes haven’t adjusted so you just sit. The sun begins to rise, the fog begins to fade and the earth is now covered with a soft light making everything around you seem clean, fresh and new. That is a good, comforting feeling. The kind of feeling you just have to thank God for allowing you to experience. Once the sun is high in the sky and your day has to begin, that peaceful feeling is now over shadowed by life in general, but the memory is always there just as God is always there.
Oh what a wonderful feeling.
Think back to the first time you witnessed a birth. How did you feel, and act. Was it the most exciting, horrific, wonderful, miraculous thing you had ever seen? Did you faint, cry, praise God? Did you feel like time stopped and you were not even breathing while you took it all in? Could you even make a sound, or could you not be shut up? Something happened in your heart at that moment. I think it was the same for the angels at creation. They witnessed 7 births of creation. I think they felt a kinship with each one, especially since they were created first. I picture them with their jaws dropped, not even breathing, until they take it all in, and hear God say He is pleased. Then the explosion of praise that follows would be like a zillion hurricanes at once. I think the angels react the same way when one of us humans gets saved. Thats the kind of joy I can’t wait to experience! (hurricanes of joy) I like that.
